For all those Vegans “in the know” when it comes to make up and body care products, the wonderful Lush Cosmetics is top of the line. This international company has just opened up in the Short Pump town center. The store had a “soft opening” the weekend of July 19th. Employees who had been rigorously trained for the past couple of months were put to the test as customers came in to sample products and watch demos. Apart from their vibrant bath bombs that turn your bath water bright colors, Lush is most notably known for their hand-crafted products that are fresh, ethically sourced, eco-friendly and completely cruelty-free.
With over 800 stores in 51 countries, Lush is stronger than ever and still very much committed to it’s beliefs. Since 2007, they’ve donated more than $4,750,000 to over 400 grassroots charities in 35 countries. Their products are 100% vegetarian. About 83% of them are vegan and 60% preservative-free.
